On March 25, 2016 a cinematic masterpiece was released into theaters across the nation. Henry Cavill, starring as Superman, and Ben Affleck, starring as Batman, had wonderful performances contrary to most people’s pre-movie viewing beliefs. Cavill and Affleck brought their roles to life and showed to the world who the real heros are.

The movie starts out with the ongoing destruction of both Gotham and Metropolis where Batman soon convicts Superman as being a threat to humanity. The story follows both Batman’s animosity towards Superman as well as Superman’s inner conflict with himself about the destruction that has been brought about in his path to save the world. As Metropolis villain, Lex Luthor, Jesse Eisenberg, causes more trouble for the two men and the community at large, the two struggling heroes are forced to find a common ground in order to come together and save the cities and people that they love.

I believe the movie did a fantastic job by incorporating both heroes into one common place as Metropolis and Gotham are only separated by a bay of water. It sends the idea to the viewer that the two are not as different as most people usually believe. With the introduction of Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash, and Aquaman, Director Zack Snyder did a wonderful job of hinting at the upcoming release of the entire DC team. This movie was a great intro for the upcoming release of DC Comics turned to the big screen.

Watch out Marvel, because DC is coming and will definitely be stealing the attraction of all pop culture as well as die hard, comic loving fans.
