Happy in High School: The movie portrays high school to be all about breaking the status quo.

High School Musical came out in the year 2006, igniting an era of singing through your troubles and defying the typical cliques and stereotypes set upon high schoolers.

Although intensely hyping student’s expectations, it taught many people that “sticking to the status quo” should never be allowed to limit their passions and talents.

Teens across the nation now value individuality over damaging their true potential with restricting labels just to fit in. Instead of terrifying many incoming students, the movie gave them hope to live through an experience that many people call the time of their lives.
