El Modena’s Theater Arts class put together a hilarious production of “Holy Musical [email protected]”. The original show had a cast of about six to eight members, but in this student lead production, primarily directed by Savannah Pabst (11), was an expanded cast to diversify it.

“Holy Musical [email protected]” premiered in El Modena’s drama room on Thursday January 21st and was also shown on the 22nd, 28th, and 29th. This musical is the story of how the Justice League came to be, but that’s not all. “Many other characters like Scarecrow, Catwoman, and Spiderman make appearances says Amanda Neely (11) who played Pizza Girl 2, Rachel Dawez, and was part of the chorus.

Alongside well known characters were out of the ordinary heros and villians. “He [Evil King Arthur] comes out on stage in a corset and chainmail and has one dynamic line leading to a song” says Daimeon Anderson (12) describing one of the three characters he portrays.

El Modena’s theater arts class continues to amaze all that see their productions. It was not a surprise that “Holy Musical [email protected]” was a hit.
