This past Friday the 27th of November marked opening day of the Santa Train at Irvine Regional Park. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day and lasts until December 23th.

The Santa Train is a fun family attraction for kids of all ages. The train departs from the station and travels through Irvine Park, towards the North Pole, in which train riders get a scenic view of beautiful Christmas lights on the trees in the park. Once in the North Pole, children can speak with Santa and ask him what they want for Christmas as well as take pictures with Santa.

In addition to riding the train with friends and family Irvine Park offers many other activities for children to participate in. These activities are held in Santa’s Village which is directly on the other side of the train station. Some of the activities include: story time with Mrs. Claus, ice fishing, cookie decorating, bounce house, and many other booths.

Further information and ticket prices for the Santa Train can be seen on the Irvine park website http://www.irvineparkrailroad.com/content/irvine-park-railroad-christmas-train.
