On August 15th, at D23 Expo 2015, at the Anaheim Convention Center, a Star wars-themed land was announced. This land will make its appearance in the 14-acre expansion coming to Disneyland. It’s location is around Big Thunder Ranch area, but no need to worry, Star Tours will stay in Tomorrowland as well as Space Mountain is being transformed into Hyperspace Mountain, an X-wing Starfighter battle. “This land features a trip on the Millennium Falcon and an adventure where the guests are in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance,” says Bob Iger chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. This is just another magical world where guests of Disneyland Park can lose themselves in their dreams.

It seems that many Cast Members and guests of Disneyland are over the moon for the new Star Wars land.

With the upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and new adventures coming to the exhilarating ride Star Tours from the 7th movie, The Walt Disney Company couldn’t have picked a better time to add more of Star Wars into the magical land of Disney. Who wouldn’t want to have the Force, go through Jedi training, or let alone, hold a lightsaber? This land is bridging the gap between generations, bringing Star Wars to life, making guest’s experiences at Disneyland even more amazing.
