Caitlyn Jenner

The world was awestruck earlier today when the cover of Vanity Fair released their front cover with the new and improved Bruce Jenner. Bruce would now like to be called “Caitlyn.”

Releasing in July, the magazine issue will be revealing the first look at Jenner after her transition from male to female. Jenner has said on social media that she is so happy to finally be living her life as her true self and she hopes that the world can “wait to get to know her/me.”

The photographer for this shoot was Annie Leibovitz, and she was able to capture some of the very first portraits of Jenner in her Malibu home.

Jenner is known for being a gold winning Olympian, but know she will be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at ABC’s EPSY Awards on July 15th.

Jenner also spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to spell her name. She was originally going to spell it with a “K,” but then decided that she wanted to go with a more traditional spelling of Caitlyn and to not match all of the other members of his family with their first names starting with “k.”

The world has has mixed reviews on Jenner’s transition, but Jenner will be appearing on many TV shows to help share her side of the story and to show the world that its important to become who you truly are, and to not hide it.
