Urban Outfitters has yet again released a clothing item that received quite a lot of negative feedback. This item is claimed to resemble the uniforms that the prisoners wore during the Holocaust. Gay prisoners were identified with a pink triangle.

The ADL took action and e-mailed Urban Outfitters: “‘Whether intentional or not, this gray and white stripped pattern and pink triangle combination is deeply offensive and should not be mainstreamed into popular culture,’ said ADL National Director Abraham H. Foxman in the letter.”

Urban has been accused of being insensitive multiple times. For example, labeling their clothing with “Navajo” and producing a Kent State sweatshirt with fake blood stains.
