The Benefits of Military Service to College Bound Students

Heavily advertised in many highschools, a military career is a popular path that helps reduce the financial burden of college.

Under the Montgomery G.I. Bill Active Duty everyone, is liable for aid after an honorable discharge, have a highschool diploma, and meet other requirements. The Montgomery G.I. Bill selected reserve is another option for those under 6 year service obligations.

This pathway essentially acts as an alternate pathway to junior college for those unable to attend universities straight out of highschool.
