The Perfect Steak for Holiday Season

   The winter time is the best excuse to eat well. Among all delicious food should be steak.



1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of freshly cracked pepper

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 garlic clove

4 tablespoons of butter

1 branch of thyme

1 branch of rosemary

To achieve this:

  1. Lightly salt your steak with freshly-crushed salt.

  2. Set it aside so that the internal temperature increases

  3. Crack pepper onto both sides of the steak and pat it in

  4. Heat the skillet until hot on high heat. Pour a tablespoon of canola oil into the

  5. Place a smashed garlic clove on the pan and cook it in the oil for 5 minutes

  6. Place the steak on the skillet and cook it for until one side is golden brown (around 3-5 minutes depending on thickness)

  7. Flip the steak and cook the other side, reducing the heat to medium low

  8. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and place a branch of thyme and rosemary into the skillet

  9. Baste the steak with the melted butter until there is a golden brown color on the top.
