Radium Girls

This Play Sure is Intoxicated so Let the Curtain Rise!

In the month of December, the drama class will be performing a play called “Radium Girls”. It talks about radium which was considered a miracle cure in 1926 which was converted to luminous paint and people would paint their watches. This was the latest rage until the girls that painted them started becoming ill.

The play follows the effort of a dial painter named Grace Fryer who is trying to go to court against the company producing radium. As the play goes on, she will find herself not just fighting the company but also family and friends. The wonderful people of drama will be putting on this play on December 8th, 10th and 11th so make sure not to miss it and support drama.
