The Swiss Army Knife of Fashion: Crocs
Remember Them? They’re Back.
Everyone knows what crocs are, but in case you are unfamiliar, they are one of our most influential and valuable inventions. To put a picture in your head, Crocs are like flip-flops – easy to put on – but are closed-toed, so they are acceptable in every setting. You need to help your mom get some groceries? Slip your Crocs on. Wearing sweats and a hoodie to school? Put your Crocs on. And if your Crocs keep falling off while wearing them, put them in sports mode and they feel like a different shoe.
If you’re not a boring person, you can add anything you can think of (called jibbitz) to the top holes of the Crocs. To everyone in a sport, invest in a pair. They are like a pair of slides but better and have a much wider range of use. Who wants to slip on a pair of running shoes and have the hassle of lacing them back up, when instead you can slip your feet into a cloud made of rubber with the feet space in the world with no laces? Crocs may not look like the most appealing shoe out there, but they are truly the swiss army knife of style.
