ELMO Jam
What’s going on? Who’s Going to be There? What should I Expect?
An honored El Modena tradition lost to us during covid is returning this 2021-2022 school year. Elmo Jam, organized by EMTV, is taking place this May 27th at ElMo in and around the amphitheater.
This event will host a dozen creators, all selling what they’ve made with their own two hands. The vendors will be located between the band room and the 500 building, with 6 vendors on either side.
EMTV will also be selling their own merchandise, including shirts and stickers with a stylized picture of the EMTV crew. They’ll be included with the vendors by the 500 building, so make sure to drop by and support EL Mo’s very own broadcasting team.
Alongside the assortment of student made products, Cali Tacos, a local Mexican restaurant with a superb reputation for their scrumptious tacos and burritos, will be there selling food. The Angel burrito is a personal favorite, so if they bring any I wholeheartedly recommend them!
After a couple hours of time spent perusing the vendors and eating, the bands will begin to perform on the amphitheater stage. While Frontline doesn’t have the band order yet, we know that 2-3 bands will be performing, including Band A and Band B .
This event will begin at approximately 4:30, as vendors will arrive to set up booths and gather their product in between the two buildings. From 5:30 to 7 there is provided time to peruse the wares supplied by vendors.
After this, there is a 30 minute window provided to eat food, and then after 7:30 the bands will perform a stunning show for everyone to enjoy. Come and Support our El Modena community and EMTV this May 27th for Elmo Jam! (282 word)
