Morbius wasn’t exactly a flop, making more than double of their budget, but it was a flop in its reviews. It received a terrible 16% rating from Rotten Tomatoes, but normal watchers reviewed it at 70%. Even before the movie came out, people knew it was gonna be bad so they jokingly said that the movie was gonna be the best movie ever. The movie is about Dr. Morbius, who is dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and he is determined to save others from the same fate, so he attempts a desperate gamble. At first it seems to be a success; however a darkness inside of him is unleashed turning him into Morbius. Movie watchers were joking about it being bad because it was released so close to The Batman, and that it came out on April 1st so that didn’t help either. When it finally premiered, it fit everyone’s expectations. All the fight scenes were hard to see because there would be black particles from special effects that obscured viewing, and the actors seemed like they weren’t putting in any effort. On the bright side, this flop, flipped the profits!
