Let Choir Take You Away
Looking for something fun to do? A way to destress from the upcoming AP Exam? Join choir tonight, April 29th, for Broadway Night. Students will perform songs from broadway musicals. Choir will lead the opening and closing numbers. They will do a number from the musical Hair and Kiss Me Kate, as well as other musicals. You won’t want to miss these amazing performances. Come with friends to support choir to help fund their class for future field trips.
The most exciting thing about Broadway night is having the experience of seeing students on a stage. It’s nerve wracking, being on stage, in front of an audience with a bright light shining on you, but it’s also a magical feeling you get when you’re on stage, like you’re floating off into an alternate reality and you’re living in the moment. That’s why it’s always amazing how great students do, they leave all their problems and anxiety behind. They are telling you a story when they are on stage, either acting or singing, and for you to believe the story, they have to believe it themselves.
So come and show some support to all our Vanguards on stage. Time will fly by as they take you on an adventure to a Broadway Night.
