Class elections are here (March 21-25)! But what does each position do? And what are the tasks for each position?
The class president has the duty of organizing student activities and leading class meetings. The class president has to be kind, show initiative, be a leader, and show compassion. If you are thinking about being class president in the future, keep in mind that it takes a lot of school planning and being able to manage your time.
The class vice president will work hand in hand with the president. They will step in for the president when needed. They will also coordinate the work of the committees and chair an important committee.
The treasurer will do the funding/ fundraising. It takes real responsibility to be class treasure.
The class secretary will take notes at the meetings and post information about their class or school related information on social media. In other words their duty is to spread the word about things going on at school.
Each of these positions takes great responsibility and leadership. You’ll have to learn to balance your school and social life. They’ll show leadership skills in your college resume.
