Who Was John Madden And How Did He Die

John Madden was an American football coach and sports commentator in the National Football League. He was born April 10, 1936, and died recently on December 28, 2021. He was the Las Vegas Raiders coach from 1960 to 1978. He had two children Joseph and Michael Madden. His parents were Earl Madden and Mary Flaherty. John Madden died at an old age of 85, at his home in Pleasanton, California. He graduated from Jefferson High School of California, and went to College at Cal Poly. He was a football star in high school, and before getting a football scholarship to the University of Oregon, he was redshirted because of a knee injury and operation. Nonetheless, he was drafted to the NFL in 1958. His position was offensive tackle. He was a good man and accomplished many things like being a coach for the Raiders for 18 years, being a dad of two sons, and living to the age of 85. May he rest in peace.
