Winter formal is an exciting event that many students can’t wait for, but how many students know what winter formal is really about? Is it just another school dance? Winter formal takes place on February 12th and couples dress in formal attire and dance the night away. It’s a highschool experience you don’t want to miss!
Any students in 9-12th grade can attend this great dance with their friends and have a lovely night. Rather than being held at school, this year’s Winter Formal is going to be held at Hangar 21 from 7-11p.m. It’s the first dance of 2022, so see there old sport!
This year’s Winter Formal theme is The Great Gatsby! Don’t know what the Great Gatsby is? Well I’m disappointed, but let me tell you. The Great Gatsby is a novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald set in 1925, that later would become a film,featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. It is set in the 1920s, and in the novel Nick Carraway meets a mysterious millionaire, Jay Gatsby,who was obsessed with his ex lover, Daisy Buchanan. This movie is worth the watch to get in the mood for Winter Formal! Follow the green light for a roarin time!
