Honor roll

Don’t Sleep in, Honor your Accomplishment

How many students have gotten  honor roll but decided to stay in and sleep instead of attending the assembly? It isn’t important, right? Here is why the honor roll is very important for our Vanguard Community and why students with honor roll should attend.

Honor roll celebrates all students with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Students with a 4.0 GPA get the distinguished honor to be on the Principal’s Honor roll. The assembly will be held at 7:40a.m, on February 16th, on a late start day, in the amphitheater. We all then gather as a community to celebrate each other and our accomplishments.

The honor roll assemblies are important and are used to motivate students to keep up their hard work, and that all their accomplishments are valued and appreciated. Studies show that  recognizing  students for their hard work creates a powerful mindset to the students as well as gives a feeling of satisfaction.
