Rapper A$AP Rocky and romantic interest Rihanna arrived at the Met Gala in elegant, billowy outfits. Rocky’s yellow quilt was much more colorful with a vintage look, while Rihanna’s was regal and all black. As uncovered after the event, the quilt was originally donated to a thrift store, where it was purchased by Rocky’s outfit designer.

Lil Nas X makes his first year at the Met Gala a memorable one by serving three looks in one. Starting in a regal caped gown, Nas does not waste time before stripping down to a metallic power suit, very superhero-esque. Nas then ditches the metal and leaves us with a tight, shiny bodysuit. All designed by Versace, Nas did not hold back on cost nor elegance.
