The PGA Tour, the world’s most prestigious golf association, has resumed play despite a delay in their typical scheduling. The PGA Championship was the first of the four majors to be played this year, and was held at TPC Harding Park from August 6-9. At only 23 years old, Collin Morikawa came out on top with a score of 13 under par for the tournament.
The second major of the year was the United States Open. The hard-hitting Bryson DeChambeau came out on top at Winged Foot Golf Club. His score of six under par for the tournament from September 17-20 was six shots ahead of runner-up Matthew Wolff.
The most coveted and most recent major tournament played in 2020 was The Masters. Dustin Johnson proved why he is the world’s number one player, posting a Masters record 20 under par for the tournament.
Unfortunately for golf fans, The Masters will be the last major tournament played until 2021 after the British Open was cancelled earlier this year.
