Childish Gambino: A Man of Mastery

Childish Gambino is a gifted Hip-Hop artist and Actor/Director extraordinaire.

Donald Glover, also known as  Childish Gambino,  made his music debut in the 10’s. Most of his lyrics came from fellow Hip-Hop artist Eminem’s absurd tendencies. At the 61st GRAMMY awards, Glover along with co-writers Ludwig Göransson and Jeffery Lamar Williams, won song of the year for “This is America.” Over the course of the evening, Glover took home three other grammys for Record Of The Year, Best Music Video, and Best Rap/Sung Performance.

Glover has also starred in various television shows and movies such as “Atlanta (2016),” “The Lion King (2019),” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).” According to GRAMMY contributor Renée Fabian, “Glover took home the Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series for “Atlanta,” a comedy series on FX. His win for directing marks the first time a black director has ever won the comedy category in the 69-year history of the show.” Glover is truly a man of mastery.
