   Freddie Mercury was a popular songwriter, singer, and musician in the 1970s and 1980s. He was famous for his band, Queen, four-octave vocal range and his hit song “Bohemian Rhapsody”, among other popular titles. 

   Freddie never gave specific details about his life or his sexuality, so the fact he had a boyfriend or was diagnosed with AIDS-related Bronchial Pneumonia was largely unknown until his death. He died at home at the age of 45.
