After the box office hit “A Star is Born” entered theatres, audiences instantly fell in love with the story of Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) and Ally (Lady Gaga). The chemistry between the characters radiated off the screen and captivated audiences from start to finish.

Gaga and Cooper’s performances were stunning, and the actors gained nominations for Best Actress and Best Actor respectively for both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards.

Along with these nominations, Gaga also earned the nomination for “Best Original Song” for the Golden Globes, Grammys, and Academy Awards, making history by getting dual nominations in both acting and music categories in the same year.

Although “A Star is Born” did not win as many awards for the acting categories in the award shows, it shone in the music categories with it’s triple award winning song “Shallow.”

This hit power ballad, written by Gaga, swept the “Best Original Song” category for the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, and the Grammy award for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,” ultimately sending Gaga home with three major milestones achieved for any performer.

At the Academy Awards, “Shallow” stole the show more than once. Gaga and Cooper performed a memorable rendition of their hit single at the show, and made audiences fall in love with the story of Jackson and Ally once again.
