Thanks for the Trouble by Tommy Wallach is written from the perspective of a teenage boy whose father died five years before. The boy has not spoken a word since. And one day, he’s sitting in a hotel and he sees a girl. She is just so captivating, with long silver hair going down to her waist, and she claims she’s 200 years old. Throughout one weekend they teach each other what life is truly about and how to truly live it.
