Salutatorian Julianna Janes
Senior Julianna Janes joins four other Vanguards for the title of Salutatorian

Senior Julianna Janes has excelled at El Modena her past four years of high school– so much, in fact, she has earned the title of salutatorian. She has a 4.8 GPA and was ecstatic when hearing about the title.
At El Mo, Janes is captain of the volleyball team, plays on the newly formed lacrosse team, is the President of Key Club and Environmental Club, on the board of NHS, and takes part in Model UN. Her exceptional character shines outside of school as well. Janes completed her Gold Award for Girl Scouts, an organization she has been a part of since first grade.
She recommends students to, “Take initiative with anything you do. It shows leadership to your peers and teachers.”
