Once again, the time has come for designers, fashion gurus, makeup artists, and models to come together for New York Fashion Week. Audiences are stunned with the fall 2018 styles being showcased.
This year, it ran February 8-12, featuring 80 different designers including Tadashi Shoji, Adam Selman, and Vivienne Hu.
Fur popped up consistently on the runways, including Cinq À Sept, in a variety of ways, from coats, to scarves, to accessories, and even on dresses. It’s likely to translate into many clothing items by the time fall comes around, ready to guard against the cold.
Box bags also dominated, emerging on many models arms. These structured leathered purses came in a variety of colors and patterns, proving itself as a versatile and chic accessory to many outfits.
In terms of makeup, monochromatic vibrant colors appeared everywhere. Jeremy Scott incorporated hot pink, cyan, and neon yellow to flaunt his designs. Sweep one color across the lid and use a contrasting shade for accents to get the look.
The question remains: what will be the biggest trend of fall 2018?
