Senior Elaine Morales is currently involved in PAL, AP Lit, and AP Spanish Lit and Culture. She is also the president of the Xicana Feminist club which holds meetings every other Thursday.
In her free time, Morales enjoys painting and making jewelry to customize her outfits by making a matching set of earrings or a necklace to complement her look.
Morales also loves attending the Art Walk in downtown Santa Ana where she finds inspiration from other artists to share her creations with our community. She was recently offered a vending spot at the art walk, where she is able to sell her jewelry and provide art supplies to encourage others to paint with her.
Her jewelry consists of handmade chokers, earrings, and rings, all under $5 for people who aren’t able to spend as much on jewelry as they’d like to. Morales describes her style as, “Ballin’ on a budget, because I make the best out of what I have such as handmade jewelry and thrifted clothes to portray my style.”
Starting in January of 2018, Morales will be vending at the art walk on the first Saturday of every month, so stop on by to support your local artists.
