President Juliette Kronenberg shares her excitement for the upcoming events of the Photography Club

The new photography club on campus was created “right before Club Rush” sophomore Juliette Kronenberg says, yet she reports that there’s already a total of 79 members. Kronenberg reports that club is all about “an opportunity for kids to get together to take pictures and have a photoshoot and to get really creative with photography.”

Kronenberg decided to start this club because she has a deep interest for photography. “It’s a really fun thing to do, especially with friends and I just love getting creative” (during a photoshoot). Kronenberg is involved with the school in many other ways such as being on track and field, yet she really wanted to start this club to work on her photography and spend more time with her friends and to create yet another positive environment that El Modena has to offer.

The club recently had a photoshoot on October 1st at the orange circle. They had four student photographers that adventured around the circle taking pictures of their friends. Kronenberg was happy with the results from the first shoot, and is looking forward to the next one that will be taking place next Sunday from 3-6 at the beach.

Interested in going to the upcoming shoot? The club has an instagram page (@elmodenaphotography) where they post updates on the club, and pictures of the day from the most recent shoot. There is also a remind for updates on meetings and dates for upcoming shoots. Join their remind by texting @elmoph to 81010.

There is also an opportunity to learn more information on this club by going to their meetings at school during lunch. (The next meeting is TBD.)

The El Modena Photography Club is a great way to get involved and find friends who share similar interests. Although it is a new club, there are many people already partaking in the photoshoots and Kronenberg is looking forward to the rest of the year and the new experiences in her photography.
