Is IOS 11 Wreaking Havoc?

Software update may be ruining iPhone interals

IOS 11 was launched a week after the announcement of the iPhone 8, 8+, and X. While a new update is much needed annually, IOS 11 seems to be making trouble.
The most notable feature has been a renewed control center; slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen to reveal one large screen fit to fix your brightness, volume, current song, or access apps or a calculator. You can even change the amount of quick-access apps in settings.
However, when looking up “IOS 11” reviews, many headlines read about rapidly decreasing battery life, email dilemmas, app crashes, and laggy 3D touch.
Some iPhone owners with the 5, 6, or even 7, blame the recent release of iPhone 8, 8+, and X. According to Apple, their phones should last up to three years, but new software updates tend to slow down older iPhones‒ a tactic the company uses to get people to buy their newest tech.
IOS 11.0.1, 11.0.2, and IOS 11.0.3 were sent to users quickly after the 11 crash to fix bugs associated with new software.
The first stages of the update simply touch on new designs and features, but the most exciting addition to the phone will be the emojis. Users have had a long wait to use new emojis like androgynous people, mermaids, wizards, vampires, pixies, giraffes, dinosaurs, hedgehogs, pies, takeout, dumplings, and many more.
