Bella Santoyo: 3rd base

FL: What do you like most about the position you play?
BS: I love all the action that 3rd base has. The ball comes off the bat hard but also the batter can bunt so you always have to be on your toes.

FL: What do you do before a game to prepare yourself?
BS: Before a game, I always visualize and think about what I wanna do and how I’m going to execute it throughout the game.

FL: Do you do any special techniques that help you play the position you play?
BS: Some special techniques I have before a game is just stretching, warming up, and getting mentally prepped for the game

FL: What do you do to help your team communicate and stay motivated through the whole game?
BS: Throughout the game I always try to make sure everyone is talking and has energy so it keeps us motivated to win the game.

FL: How did you get involved in softball?

BS: My older sister played softball so I’ve been at the field ever since I was in diapers, literally. I loved watching the game and knew I loved it and wanted to play.
