College Prep 101

Getting organized is the first step to prepare for college.

Starting early on choosing colleges one would see themselves attending is always smartest because once Senior year arrives, one is free to apply to as many colleges as they’d like. All while making sure to pay attention to important dates one could find on the college’s website, one should make sure to send in applications, transcripts, SAT scores, and other requested information to the correct addresses on time. One should also make sure to apply for financial aid as soon as the application opens up.

Taking a closer look at one’s desired college should also be considered. Paying attention to the surrounding environment of the campus and taking campus tours can help one make their final choice once acceptance letters roll in.

Taking college admission one step at a time will lead to a better introduction and experience into life outside of the walls of high school.
