Homecoming, the event high schools host to invite back their alumni, at El Mo will be taking place in the gym this Saturday, October 22.

While El Mo has graduated students like Milo Ventimiglia (’95) , Mikey Day (’95), Mark Lester (’07), or even Freddie Freeman (’07), one of the most memorable alumni has been Freshman English teacher Michael Finn. His quirky lessons and laughter-inducing life stories truly bring the relationship between him and his students closer together as the year progresses.

Finn graduated in 1981, before freshman were allowed to attend El Modena. His first job was at Diamond Bar High before being invited back to El Modena as the head baseball coach. From there, Finn became a long-term sub, and finally the amazing teacher that most students on campus know today.

Mr. Finn is located in A-19 for those who wish to pay a visit.
