In order to receive a “gold cord distinction”  during the graduation ceremony, one must acquire fifty hours per year or one hundred and fifty years succeeding freshman year.

Clubs such as NHS (National Honor Society, open to sophomore, junior, and senior students) and Environmental Club ask for twenty additional hours and may not piggyback the required fifty needed for the desired cord. Interact and Key Club help students reach out to organizations for beach clean ups, marathon race snack people, kid events, and sign up tables. To join Key Club, please contact Monti Rahman.

Summer hours for the upcoming school year are due before October 1st and hours during the school year must be documented prior to May 15th.

Find the documents along with the list of rules and regulations here.
