Many new improvements have been made all around the El Modena campus. Take the new SkoolLive Kiosks for example. The kiosks are used as a digital bulletin board to help connect students with the capabilities of using technology. These 60-inch, high-definition, and touch-sensitive digital notice boards provide information such as announcements and upcoming events. The kiosks are contributing the state of the art technology that allows faculty to communicate with students. According to Dr. Saxton the purpose of these kiosks is to provide information to the students and teachers. Along with promoting the campus events, the SkoolLive kiosks support local businesses by encouraging brand exposure, driving traffic to locations, and increasing different opportunities for students. In exchange for promotion, these local businesses provide financial support to El Modena to fund student programs. Eventually, these kiosks will be touch screen to help students find information that they want to know more about. Goodbye old pin-up boards, hello new cutting edge technology.
