Tonight, May 2nd, 2017, El Modena boys’ volleyball held their senior night in their home gym, recognizing the student athletes that have competed with the team for their whole high school careers.

The seniors being recognized tonight were outside hitter Jeriah Copple, middle blocker Seth Watkins, outside hitter Jimmy Tran, setter Kyle Nyguyen, middle blocker Kirran Acosta-Smith, and outside hitter Jack Haug.

Senior Jimmy Tran says what it feels like to play on his home court for his last time, “Playing on senior night and the last time on my home court is something I’ll always remember. Everyone that came out and supported and cheered for our team was what made the night special and I will always be grateful for that. Every point was filled with excitement and there is no better feeling than knowing that I gave it my all the last time on home court.”
